Queswachaka is much more than a bridge: it is a living tradition that connects the Inca past with the present. Every year, four Quechua communities come together to renovate this ichu bridge using the same techniques ancestral cultures, in a ceremony that has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
