3-day expedition in one of the most remote places in the Andes

  • Day 1

    Departure from Cusco to Phinaya

    Early departure from Cusco to the town of Phinaya (4,700 m.a.s.l.). Acclimatization and preparation of the team. Gentle trekking to the base camp.

  • Day 2

    Ascent to the Quelccaya Glacier

    Early ascent to the glacier (5,600 meters above sea level). Exploration of glacial tongues and melting lagoons. Instruction on glacier trekking techniques.

  • Day 3

    Exploration and Return

    Last exploration of the glacial environment. Dismantling of the camp and return to Phinaya. Return trip to Cusco.
