The historical journey to the lost city of the Incas

  • Day 1

    Km 82 - Wayllabamba - Ayapata

    Pick up 4:00 AM. Drive to Km 82 (2,720 m.a.s.l.). Entry control. Trekking 12 km passing through Llactapata. Lunch en route. Camp in Ayapata (3,300 meters above sea level).

  • Day 2

    Abra Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo

    Challenging day. Ascent to the highest point: Warmiwañusca (4,215 meters above sea level). Trekking 11 km through Andean landscapes. Descent to the camp in Pacaymayo (3,500 meters above sea level).

  • Day 3

    Runkurakay - Phuyupatamarca - Wiñaywayna

    Trekking 16 km passing through archaeological sites: Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca. Lunch in Chaquicocha. Camp in Wiñaywayna (2,650 meters above sea level).

  • Day 4

    Inti Punku - Machu Picchu

    Early morning (4:00 AM) to arrive at Inti Punku at dawn. Panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Guided tour 2.5 hours. Free time. Train to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cusco.
